AOI Displays (AOI)- Orlando, FL is able to offer turnkey solutions for our customers including Open/Closed Frame monitors and Panel PCs. There are standard options available to meet project goals. We can easily tailor a standard product to meet a project’s design requirements or customize our product to match another vendor’s solution with the ability to offer cost down plug and play solutions.
Open/Closed Frame Monitors: Monitors are turnkey solutions that require zero design on the customer’s end and use standard display interfaces found on most computers and electronic devices. We can provide monitors utitlizing the most common display interfaces including HDMI, VGA, DSI, USB-C, etc. to drive the display. Typically, a monitor includes a power board (converts a common voltage into the necessary levels for the Backlight, Display Cell, Touch Panel, and any other boards/periphrials required for the operation of the monitor), Display (the most common type is TFT-LCD), Display Driver Board (converts the display signal [HDMI, VGA, DVI, etc.] from the computer or electronic device into the required signal for the Display Driver IC [LVDS, MIPI, eDP, etc.] located on the display), and a Touch Panel providing a USB signal for detection along with any necessary components like a I2C to USB board if the Touch Panel is I2C native. There are two classes of monitors:
Closed Frame: Closed Frame monitors are the standard monitors you find at your local electronics store that have all components enlosed in a clean bezel with a stand or mounting points on the back of the frame. We offer bezels in plastic or metal as well as complementary services to help design the enclosure.

Open Frame: Open Frame monitors do not include an enclosure for the assembly but only a metal chassis where all of the internal components are mounted. The main advantage of this assembly is that it allows the designer/integrator the option to create a custom enclosure or incorporate the display and chassis into the completed product which creates a cleaner and polished design. The open frame also reduces the required space for the display component, allowing for more compact and optimized product design. We can further decrease the component footprint by offering perimeter flange mounting points that eliminate the need for mounting hardware in the back of the display. We also offer standard VESA options with our monitors or the ability to customize the metal chassis to meet any design constraints.

Panel PC: Some customers want to purchase the display and computer all in one package. This option allows for quick time to market and a reduction in the design phase for product development. We offer standard all-in-one touchscreen PCs with I/O options to meet industry standards. Many options for our PCs include the following:
