AOI Displays (AOI)- Orlando, FL has developed a partnership with EETI that allows us to bring some of the most advanced water-resistant capacitive touch panels to the market. Our touch controller solutions can automatically detect volumes of water on the touch screen surface and trigger different levels of water protection to mitigate the interference. This resistance can be used with both saltwater and freshwater and has 2 levels of protection.
Level -1 is activated when the touch screen encounters a moderate level of water and will cause the controller to enter a state that will help filter and stabilize the touch response.
Level -2 is activated when large amounts of water are encountered, or the touch panel is submerged. This will cause the touch controller to enter a state that will disable the touch functionality until the water is removed.
